Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba on the TV show Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is the daughter of actor June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart began her career at the age of four. Her first role came to her when she was just four years old when she appeared in T is for Tumbleweed. The film was a short one on the subject was chosen for nomination at the Academy Awards. The initial decision was for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an extremely preliminary script to play the role on the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the part because she felt the character was weak. Glen created a brand new character to play for her with Sheba as a more powerful role model. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she read and was subsequently accepted. The show ran for one season.
